ATTENTION OTTAWA BANDS AND MUSICIANS!!
We’re thrilled to announce that we have partnered with the Ottawa International Film Festival for their Music Video Challenge.
Yup, local bands take note, this is your time to shoot and/or get your video screened! Ottawa Rock Lottery’s Samantha Everts is actually going to be MCing the event on Sunday, August 21st at Babylon.
“If you’re a filmmaker or musician in Ottawa, this is a great opportunity to showcase your creations for your hometown audience,” says Nina Bains, Executive Director of OIFF.
Details for the Music Video Challenge:
– Submissions must be between 3 & 5 minutes in length
75% of the team of musicians and filmmakers must be from Ottawa
– Teams must submit a Quicktime or .avg file on two DVDs for screening at the Babylon
– Music Videos must be rated: G, PG14, AA, R18
– Any G or PG-rated video finalist may be considered for national broadcast on television
New Deadline is now the same as the film submission deadline, July 1st.
Due to increased interest in the competition, filmmakers are encouraged to submit early to info@oiff.ca or through the OIFF website.
